With much excitement, I asked one of my friend (he's little bit like Geek) whether he watches "MTV Roadies"? but his reply was shocking! he told that this program is full of slang and his family doesn't allow him to view it. Oh! WTF?
They believe, it's a show where the use of abusive languages are high and that's why youngsters love to see it... I'm sorry to say, those people are not aware of the Roadies and they must see it to clear out their misconception.
So, What is roadies all about?
Roadies is a Reality show for youngster. It's actually about Adventure on bikes to travel different places across the country and abroad. Every year, they choose 13 participant through audition from different cities of India. Specially those people are selected who have good personality and are rough & tough in nature, to travel hundreds of kilometer on bikes.
These participants have to face difficult tasks at different locations throughout their journey and every tasks they perform, increases the money in the roadies account. They sometime need to perform immunity tasks to avoid vote out coz every week, one of the roadie is eliminated by random anonymous votes by other roadies.
At the end of the journey or roadies season, one who survive successfully wins the Roadies title and the money collected through out the journey.
This reality show is one of the most favorite show for Youth. And they successfully completed 8 season and right now, season 9 "Everything or Not" which i'm going to cover here @ AllRoadies.
